“I have been involved in the arts my whole life, with a professional artist mother and grandmother, and a photo-journalist father. I have studied art and film at the Victoria College of Art, Capilano University, and the University of Calgary, and finally decided to open up shop.

Lately I am working primarily with acrylics, but I love to use ink & mixed media and add in whatever works in a piece. I am drawn to creating bold lines and bright colours- something that catches your eye. I want to illuminate a space. I also enjoy pop-culture, humour, quotes and typography.” -Amber Petersen
