“I was fortunate in the first 29 years of my professional career to work at one of the top forensic laboratories in North America, the Centre of Forensic Sciences (CFS) in Toronto. I obtained my honors BSc from the University of Toronto in 1980 and I am a designated analyst under section 254(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada. I served as a member of the Alcohol Test Committee, the sole advisor to the federal Minister of Justice on breath and blood alcohol testing, from 1993 until my retirement in 2005. I have had the pleasure of testifying in over 600 criminal trials at various levels of court.
